Dearest calgames,

Absolutely love this game!  I was gifted it by a friend.  Well, after lots of playing, I wanted to let you know about something:

On the way to 1973,  I found a glitch - here's how It went...

Somtimes if I move around and shoot at the cheif @ the police station right before the talking ends and he goes into the portal, he will get stuck running in place.  Then when I enter the cruise ship scene, bobby is kinda flying and can't move, and the enemies are stuck running in place too.  I can't say exactly what triggers this, but I'm basically moving around and shooting while talking to the sarge.

ah the joys of NES coding & glitches! I came across this one time, and altered some code that I thought would fix it. Had something to do with screen scrolling not triggering between scenes. I couldn’t ever replicate the issue, so I figured it was fixed. I guess not! Although I don’t know which version of the rom you have.

I’ll take a look and see if there’s anything I can do. Luckily it’s only the 2nd level.

Thank you so much for playing it! Physical copies go into production soon, and can be preordered at premiumeditiongames.com

Unfortunately I don't know which version I have;  Like I said, it was gifted to me.

The intro with Zorbass and the ongoing story with the chief is priceless!   XD

I really don't wanna come across like a downer, but, I did find another glitch.   After the fight with Zorbass in 1885, he zaps out of the level, but then I just sat there, waiting.. and waiting...  Eventually towelie came over, and I just sorta wandered off...

I got there again, and after he zaps, (er, transports?) out of the level I followed him after a few seconds and everything went a-ok, all the way to the end!

Certainly not a complaint, just lettin' ya know kinda-thing!

I played this game wayy too much and I think most people (or fish) won't run into these glitches

p.s. how come the upgraded guns don't break the chairs?

Ha! if it doesn’t say 2023 on the title screen, then it’s an older build. I tried to glitch the 1973 portal 10 times the other night and couldn’t break it. So hopefully what I did fixed it for the current version!

as for the warp out of 1885, I’ve never seen that one before. I’ll take a look!

The upgraded guns have different hit detection and I must’ve not coded them to collide with the chairs. I noticed that a while back and there was a reason I left it the way it is… just can’t remember what that reason is at the moment, lol.

Did you know you can shoot Frank in the main lobby with the regular gun? He just gets mad.

also, after you capture Zorbass for good and return to the station, there’s a way to jump up and over the wall into the chief’s office. Hell notice, and say something.

There’s also a way to warp straight to the prehistoric level. In the newest build, it warps you straight to the last level.

Any physical copies available?

there might be eventually! For now there’s just a handful being made, but weighing doing a kickstarter.

physical copies now on pre-order over at premiumeditiongames.com!

Will the manual eventually be made available as a pdf

I too would like to know if you will upload a PDF manual. Also same for your other games.

Funny you should ask. Jim & Dill - The Legend of Weed N' Stiff (Jim & Dill 1) now has a PDF manual available. The manual for Bobby Six Seven is also now available. Jim & Dill 3 has a manual available already, and Jim & Dill  2 should have one ready to go within the next few days.

Awesome quick(ish) response. :p Thanks a bunch!

So sorry for the delay. Been focused on finishing Jim & Dill 3. As of right now, the manual IS available as a PDF.

Is the version available for download here already fixed?
